Surgical technologists help surgeons and keep patients safe. They keep instruments clean and ready to use, move patients to and from operating rooms, and keep the rooms organized. Graduates may seek jobs in hospital surgery, labor and delivery areas, outpatient surgery centers, and as private assistants for surgeons are just a few of the options available to program graduates.

Pathway to Certification with Extensive Clinical Practice

Learn operating room techniques and surgical procedures. You will gain crucial knowledge through lectures, labs and clinical rotations. Clinicals are held at a variety of clinical locations to provide students with a wide range of experience prior to graduation. Upon program completion, graduates may take the national certification exam.
