Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) assist Physical Therapists (PTs) in patient care. PTAs may:

  • Assist PTs in assessing clients and making treatment plans
  • Guide clients through rehab exercises
  • Collect data
  • Organize client records
  • Teach families how to care for their loved ones

Graduate Ready for the NPTE and Licensure 

As a PTA student, you will attend lecture and lab courses to gain critical knowledge and skills. In addition, you will receive hands-on clinical experience to prepare you for work under a PT.

Upon program completion, graduates should seek licensure and apply to take the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).

This is a selective admissions-based program.
